
St. Johns County has launched the seventh episode of its Inside SJC video series, focusing on the safe disposal of household hazardous waste. Titled Effortless and Safe, SJC Solid Waste Division Leads the Way in Household Hazardous Waste, the episode highlights how the county manages items that could harm the environment if improperly discarded.
According to the St. Johns County release, residents can use drop-off centers at the Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road Transfer Stations to dispose of materials such as batteries, paint, and old electronics. The county emphasized that proper disposal helps protect the environment, ensures worker safety, and supports public health.
Residents can watch Inside SJC videos on the St. Johns Countty’s website, GovTV channel, or official social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The series continues to release monthly episodes that provide updates on county services and initiatives.
