A man has been apprehended following an armed robbery at Go Go's Market in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood last night. According to CBS News,  Pittsburgh Police have identified the suspect as 36-year-old James Tinsley, captured after the robbery. The arrest took place near the scene of the crime, within a proximity that spanned less than a mile, initiating a foot chase that concluded with Tinsley being tased on Renova Street.

After being taken into custody, authorities disclosed that they recovered two firearms and approximately $200; Tinsley was found to have discarded one of the guns during his flight from the officers. An employee at the convenience store positively identified Tinsley by his footwear, asserting that Tinsley had pointed a gun at him, demanding cash, with $239 taken from the business as he recognized the shoes, according to the criminal complaint detailed by WPXI.

Tinsley, following a visit to UPMC Mercy Hospital for a routine check-up post-arrest, now awaits judicial proceedings at the Allegheny County Jail.
