A 22-year-old Baltimore man has been charged with multiple offenses following an alleged road rage incident on a busy Maryland interstate. Kyron Lambert Jr. was arrested at his residence by members of the Maryland State Police Apprehension Team yesterday, following an incident that occurred on September 30 near I-695 and Route 97, FOX Baltimore reported.

During the morning commute, a driver claimed they were threatened by Lambert, who is said to have brandished a handgun at them while both were navigating the thoroughfare. Lambert now faces a list of charges, including first- and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving, among others. No injuries were reported from the incident. In the follow-up to the initial allegations, the Maryland State Police executed a search warrant at Lambert's home, where multiple firearms were seized. The arsenal included a Glock 43X, a Canik METE, and an array of high-capacity magazines.

In addition to the trove of weapons at Lambert's residence, another gun was recovered at the home of Lambert's father, as per FOX Baltimore's coverage. The suspect has since been held at Baltimore County Detention Center pending a commissioner hearing.

A report by WBALTV also noted that the incident, which sparked this investigation, was originally reported by a woman who was ostensibly the target of Lambert's alleged violent outburst. The perpetrator, after being pursued by the authorities' highway gun crime initiative, was traced and apprehended accordingly.
