Bostonians experienced a chill this morning with the mercury dipping into the 20s and 30s, making for a bracing start to the day, but temperatures are expected to nudge into the more tolerable mid-40s by afternoon under partly sunny skies, as reported by NBC Boston.
Following tonight’s plunge back into the frosty 20s and 30s, tomorrow brings promise of a brief respite with a warmup to the low 50s, ushered in by southwest winds, however, this is not set to last—"a weak cold front will slide through our area into Saturday, giving way to highs in the upper 40s by Saturday and into the mid 40s on Sunday," according to NBC Boston. The National Weather Service confirms tomorrow night will see a chance of rain, mainly after midnight with a 40% chance of precipitation, and much of the area should be rain-free by Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday.
The weekend outlook appears mostly benign with a clear Saturday night ahead, and Sunday maintaining mostly sunny conditions with highs lingering near 45 degrees, the National Weather Service indicates Monday will continue the trend, pegging mostly sunny skies with high temperatures near 51, setting a pleasant stage for the week ahead.
Mild weather is expected for much of next week. Tuesday will be partly sunny with a high near 49, and rain chances rise to 60% by nightfall. The chance of rain continues into Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a 50% chance of precipitation.
