The Clark County School District is reaching out to the community to gather input on shaping the future of its schools through the Destination District Survey. According to News 3 LV, the survey kicked off yesterday and will run until Nov. 26, available at weareccsd.net/destination. The process is geared toward collecting feedback from students, staff, and locals to help steer the district’s strategic planning.
Superintendent Jhone Ebert has called on not only those directly involved with the district but also the broader community. “Every voice and every experience matters as we work together to make CCSD the Destination District,” Ebert stated, emphasizing the impact each individual can have on the district's journey. The survey can be completed in about five minutes and offers multilingual support, ensuring accessibility for a diverse population. Submissions will remain anonymous, creating a safe space for honest feedback, as noted by 8 News Now.
The results from the survey are expected to play a critical role in the development of the district’s new strategic plan, which is slated for launch in 2026. Feedback will be reviewed and shared at the upcoming State of the Schools event, as reported by 8 News Now. The survey aims to embody the essence of CCSD's next phase; to establish an educational hub where all students, employees, and families choose to belong due to the shared belief in the community's potential.
Ebert's invitation extends to all corners of the community, stretching beyond those with a direct stake in the district's operations. "I invite every member of our community to take this survey, whether or not they have a direct connection to our schools," Ebert told 8 News Now. The collaborative approach signifies an earnest attempt to include diverse perspectives in sculpting a vision for the future of the Clark County School District.
Following the survey period, Clark County School District plans to dissect the insights gathered during the Destination District Community Dream Sessions this winter.
