According to FOX San Antonio, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes and helped prevent a late comeback by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who threw four touchdown passes. Mahomes set up a 10-yard touchdown pass to Hollywood Brown late in the game, bringing the Chiefs close, but the Cowboys ran down the clock to secure the win.
The Dallas Cowboys reported key player milestones. CeeDee Lamb recorded a catch that brought his career receiving yards over 7,000, marking a first for a Cowboys player in a short timeframe. Running back Malik Davis had three carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run.
On defense, the Cowboys sacked Patrick Mahomes three times, with Jadeveon Clowney recording two of those. They limited Kansas City to converting 38% of third-down attempts. The Cowboys outgained the Chiefs 457 yards to 362 and held the ball for 30:54. FOX San Antonio reports injuries to Chiefs offensive linemen Jawaan Taylor and rookie Josh Simmons, affecting the team’s offense.
As the regular season continues, both teams remain in playoff contention. The Chiefs will play Houston on December 7, while the Cowboys will face the Detroit Lions in a conference matchup.
