
Firefighters in south Charlotte were quickly mobilized to combat a three-alarm apartment fire early this morning. According to details released by WSOCTV, the fire started just before 3 a.m. on Sycamore Creek Drive, near Arrowood Road. Despite the magnitude of the blaze, which was being battled by dozens of firefighters, no injuries were reported by MEDIC.
The intensity of the fire led to substantial damage with 12 apartments afflicted by the inferno. Officials managing the incident had the fire under control in just under an hour, securing the scene and attending to residual hotspots throughout the morning. In a statement obtained by WBTV, they confirmed that no one was hurt, and the American Red Cross was actively assisting residents who had been affected. Furthermore, they emphasized the importance of functional alarms for fire prevention.
Parallel to the south Charlotte incident, another fire emergency unfolded at west Charlotte apartments, where a separate three-alarm fire broke out. As per a report by QCNews, the Charlotte Fire Department noted that there were no injuries among firefighters or civilians at this location either. The cause of the west Charlotte fire is currently under an ongoing investigation.
