In observance of Veterans Day, the City of Fort Collins has announced a series of closures set for Tuesday, November 11. According to the City of Fort Collins, all City offices will be closed in respect of the holiday. But for those looking to keep busy, the Gardens on Spring Creek, the Museum of Discovery, and all recreation facilities will throw open their doors.

While City offices take a day off, Transfort will push forward with regular service. Though their offices will be joining the citywide closure. Across the community, essential services such as fire, police, and utilities will press on, unperturbed by the holiday calendar, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents doesn't go on break.

Post-holiday, it’s business as usual, with City offices and facilities picking up regular hours starting Wednesday, Nov. 12. But before the return to the daily grind, there’s a bit of celebration. A Veterans Day Breakfast will be served up at the Fort Collins Senior Center. The city invites one and all to this event, running from 7-10 a.m., “to celebrate our Veterans,” as mentioned by the City of Fort Collins.
