For those looking to embrace the holiday spirit with a locally-sourced Christmas tree, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper has announced a partnership between Georgia Grown and the Georgia Farmer’s & Consumer’s Market Bulletin. Together they have launched the 2025 Georgia Christmas Tree Farm Map, simplifying the search for the perfect Christmas tree for Georgia families. The guide, available both in print and online, features a comprehensive list of nearly 100 tree farms throughout the state.
“With Christmas season right around the corner, the Georgia Grown Program and the Farmer’s & Consumer’s Market Bulletin are excited to share their 2025 Georgia Christmas Tree Farm Map,” said Harper in an announcement published by the Georgia Department of Agriculture. In promoting locally grown trees, he urged residents to visit one of Georgia’s nearly 100 Christmas tree farms and pick up a fresh-cut tree for the season. The guide is designed to support local agriculture while bringing a distinctly Georgia touch to holiday celebrations statewide.
Interested residents can find the guide in both the November 12 and 26 issues of the Market Bulletin, as well as on the Georgia Department of Agriculture's website. With Christmas only a sweep of the calendar away, the timing couldn’t be better for families to start planning their visits to the farms and seize the opportunity to handpick their trees.
Moreover, for those looking to keep their fingers on the pulse of local agricultural happenings year-round, subscriptions to the Farmers and Consumers Market Bulletin are offered. By calling 800-282-5852 or visiting the aforementioned website, Georgians can stay informed about market reports, news, and other future resource guides that support local growers and Georgia's wider agricultural community.
