Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has appointed three individuals to important state boards and commissions. According to a press release, Stephanie Dooley and Melinda Robertson were named to the Missouri Ethics Commission, while Erwin “Erv” Switzer has been reappointed to the Missouri Technology Corporation.
Dooley, a St. Louis native, has a background in education, serving as the director of admission and placement at City Academy Elementary School. She also serves on the regional disciplinary committee for the Supreme Court of Missouri. Holding finance and MBA degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Webster University, she is expected to bring a combination of financial expertise and educational experience to the commission.
Joining Dooley is Melinda Robertson of Bolivar, a veteran in government service. She spent nearly 30 years as county clerk and south associate commissioner for Polk County. Although retired, Robertson remains active in tax and bookkeeping at Winfield Tax Service. She also brings prior experience on state commissions, having served on the Missouri Judicial Finance Commission.
Switzer, reappointed to the Missouri Technology Corporation, brings a strong legal and advisory background. He is a partner and assistant general counsel at UB Greensfelder and has served on the advisory board for the Military Legal Assistance Team under former Attorney General Josh Hawley. Switzer holds political science and law degrees from St. Louis University and is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association, and FOCUS St. Louis.
