In a high-intensity operation, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, along with multiple partnering agencies, secured numerous arrests that also led to the recovery of stolen cars, drugs, and firearms. The details of the operation, which highlighted the joint efforts of the Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF), Special Assignments Unit (SAU), Impact Team, the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the Minneapolis Police Department, as reported by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.

In one incident, a stolen vehicle reported to be driving recklessly was spotted in North Minneapolis. The Sheriff's Office VOTF engaged in pursuit after an attempted stop, which resulted in the suspect vehicle hitting a bicyclist and, subsequently, being halted using a Pursuit Intervention Technique in North Minneapolis. The suspects, comprising four juveniles and an adult, were taken into custody. According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office's post, a "ghost handgun" was also found by a K9 unit in the area.

Another arm of the detail took place when the SAU located an occupied stolen vehicle within the 2900 block of Penn Ave N. The vehicle was monitored to a stop at 30th Ave N and Vincent Ave N, where attempts to apprehend the occupants ensued. Both the driver and passenger, in spite of attempted evasion on foot, were arrested and found to be on outstanding felony warrants and a Corrections warrant, respectively. The vehicle involved was also among the five recovered stolen cars.

A significant drug recovery highlighted the operation's broader scope when HCSO’s Impact team conducted a traffic stop on the 2600 block of Penn Ave N. Nearly 60 grams of cocaine and upward of $5,000 in cash were seized during this incident. The driver faces charges of first-degree narcotics, with the case still under active investigation, as stated by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
