A school employee at Spoto High School has been taken into custody facing a slew of disturbing charges, including child exploitation and bestiality, as announced by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest, occured on Monday, was prompted by an extensive investigation initiated from a cyber tip by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children back in August of this year, pointing investigators to an online account associated with 25-year-old Tyree McKinley Fields the account, upon further probing by detectives, was found to be the source of numerous uploads of child sexual abuse content, including abhorrent images involving infants and young children, and videos of sexual acts with animals, leading to the discovery of hundreds of graphic files.
According to the official press release from the Sheriff's Office, a range of charges have been levied against Fields, which encompass 100 counts of possession of child pornography (10 or more images), 100 counts involving sexual activity imagery with an animal, two counts related to the transmission of child pornography within the state, three counts for unlawful use of a two-way communication device, in addition to charges for obstructing service or execution of a search warrant and resisting without violence.
During the time of these alleged crimes, Fields served as a campus safety monitor where his position implied a responsibility to protect students, a stark contradiction to the heinous nature of his charges, with Sheriff Chad Chronister commenting on the case, "There are few crimes more horrifying than those that exploit the innocent," and Stressing the pure evil found in the abuse of children and animals, he also acknowledged the efforts of the detectives, "this man is behind bars," reassuring the public about their commitment to target those who prey on the vulnerable.
