Jacksonville police have arrested Arthur Virgil, 68, in connection with a series of business burglaries across the city. Virgil faces multiple burglary charges, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Officers linked Virgil to the crimes using surveillance footage from several affected businesses. He was apprehended late last month, after a theft at a local restaurant, where authorities recovered the restaurant’s cash box in his vehicle.
Virgil has a history of similar offenses. The investigation remains active as detectives determine his involvement in other cases.
