Gov. Greg Abbott announced that Cancoil USA will establish new U.S. manufacturing operations in Jacksonville, Texas. The expansion is expected to create 120 jobs and contribute $28 million to the local economy. According to the Office of the Texas Governor, Cancoil USA received a $648,000 Texas Enterprise Fund grant to support the project, along with a $10,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus for eligible veteran hires.

“Texas is the undisputed champion for attracting more job-creating businesses than any other state, with the best business climate in the nation and a highly skilled and growing workforce across our great state,” Gov. Greg Abbott said in a press release, noting the potential for more jobs and stronger supply chains in East Texas. He added that the project could provide “better job and bigger paycheck opportunities.”

Cancoil USA, known for its growth in the commercial and industrial heat transfer product sector, is expanding in Jacksonville to take advantage of regional benefits. The company plans for the new facility to support manufacturing and deliver heat transfer solutions across the United States. Cancoil cited confidence in the local workforce and the business-friendly environment as reasons for choosing Jacksonville.

Senator Robert Nichols, a retired businessman who previously built factories in Jacksonville, said there’s no better place to work. Representative Cody Harris described Cancoil’s expansion as part of an exciting period of job growth and opportunity in House District 8, benefiting both current residents and potential newcomers.

Jacksonville Mayor Randy Gorham and JEDCO Board Chairman Darrell Dement welcomed Cancoil’s decision as a recognition of the city’s potential. The city plans to support the new jobs and use this growth to strengthen its industrial sector, with JEDCO President Shane Pace emphasizing their commitment to advancing the city’s development.
