A Knox County man, Randall Fairchild Myers, 52, has been sentenced to fifty-six years in prison for the aggravated rape and incest of a thirteen-year-old child. The crimes occurred in the summer of 2022, involving alcohol and drugs given to the victim by Myers and his wife, Abigail Myers, who later admitted her involvement, according to the District Attorney General.
Myers evaded law enforcement but was captured by U.S. Marshals in 2024 and convicted in a September trial. "Because of the bravery of this victim and the cooperation of multiple law enforcement agencies, this offender has been apprehended and held accountable for his crimes," said DA Charme Allen, as reported by the District Attorney General.
Randall Myers was convicted of Aggravated Rape, a Class A felony, and sentenced to the maximum term with consecutive sentences. During the trial, Assistant District Attorneys Heather Ens and Ashley McDermott presented the victim’s testimony, which was supported by Abigail Myers. The prosecution team also included Assistant Victim Witness Coordinator Leah Graves and Legal Secretary Erin Morrison.
