
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in Nevada has provided a snapshot of their work throughout October, revealing details of their law enforcement activities in a social media post. In their commitment to keeping the community clued in, they've tallied a hefty 436 calls for service, alongside completing 132 traffic stops during the month.
According to the Facebook post by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Nevada, their deputies have been far from idle, making 13 arrests for a variety of reasons, ranging from DUI to Domestic Battery, as well as possession of controlled substances. While maintaining law and order, they've also worked to keep the roads safe from potentially dangerous drivers.
The report doesn't just stop at policing figures, but also delves into the details of Lincoln County’s incarceration statistics, marking the current number of inmates at 46. The Sheriff's Office leverages contract agreements to accommodate inmates from outside jurisdictions – a practice that has brought in $152,005.10 in October via contracts with entities like the U.S. Marshals Service and the City of North Las Vegas.
