
Medford's City Manager, Rob Field, has handed in his resignation today, set to leave office on November 24, 2025, the City of Medford's official website reports. As the city prepares for this administrative shift, the Medford City Council is expressing appreciation for Field's time in office, while ensuring constituents that city business will proceed without interruption.
"The City of Medford has announced the resignation of City Manager Rob Field, effective November 24, 2025," states the official announcement. The Council has also assured that its focus will remain on the City’s priorities and community service during the transition. An interim leader is set to be appointed as the search for a permanent City Manager commences.
In the interim, Assistant City Manager Debbie Grady will step up as the Acting City Manager. This move is intended to provide continuity until an official Interim City Manager is selected by the Council. According to the City of Medford's announcement, the City will continue to provide updates on the City Manager search process.
