The incident unfolded on 16th Street on the evening of October 24th, where police arrived at 7:26 p.m. to find the injured adult male; subsequently, the victim was transported to a local hospital by DC Fire and EMS, as per a police statement.
Investigative efforts have yielded surveillance footage that captured the suspects, offering new hope for leads in a case that has left the community seeking closure and justice. The Metropolitan Police Department, in an attempt to leverage the eyes and ears of the community, has released the video to the public. Furthermore, they have announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information that directly leads to an arrest and conviction in the violent crime. Officers responded to the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest, and located the victim, according to officials.
