The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office announced the safe return of 78-year-old Kay Pruitt, who had been reported missing from her Statesville home. According to QC News, Pruitt was last seen yesterday leaving her residence on Caribou Drive.
Details about Pruitt’s discovery remain limited. Authorities have not disclosed where or when she was found but confirmed she was located shortly after the missing person alert was issued. Law enforcement has not provided additional information regarding the circumstances of her return.
The Sheriff's Office asked the public for help in the search, noting that the senior citizen had been seen leaving her home wearing a red jacket and pink robe and carrying a walking stick, raising concerns for her safety.
