Patchy fog is expected to develop in New Orleans after 11 p.m., with temperatures dropping to around 64°F and light southwest winds. Similar foggy conditions are anticipated Saturday morning, followed by mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. On Sunday, the area will see continued sunshine with cooler temperatures near 72°F and north winds ranging from 5 to 15 mph.
The outlook for the early week indicates a cooler trend, starting with a sunny Monday where the temperature will peak at just 55°F, the north wind flexing its muscles with gusts potentially reaching 30 mph. Veterans Day and the following Tuesday will see a gentle southward shift in the wind and a temperature rise, reaching 60°F for the high and twilight lows sinking to a snug 48°F, according to the NWS forecast.
As midweek approaches, Wednesday’s forecast calls for clear skies and sunny conditions with a high near 72°F. Light winds in the morning will shift to a southern breeze later in the day. The evening will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to around 56°F and a steady light wind from the south.
