A 50-year-old man from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Yasser Abdouh Mohmmed Alssiady, is facing serious charges involving the alleged sex trafficking of a 16-year-old. According to QC News, detectives in Rock Hill, South Carolina, initiated their investigation on October 30 upon receiving information about the teen's involvement with Alssiady. As reported, the individual was not only accused of engaging in sexual acts with the minor but also of luring the teen with financial incentives and access to vehicles.
Upon arrest on last Friday, Alssiady was charged with trafficking a person under 18 and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He's now held in the Moss Justice Center without bond in York County, as WBTV reported. Some of the alleged crimes took place at a business located on Herlong Avenue, near Ebenezer Road, where the exchange of money and the use of a rental car occurred as part of the trafficking arrangement. Allegedly, the exchange of resources was critical in recruiting the teen into commercial sexual acts.
WCCB Charlotte released details indicating that the investigation shed light on Alssiady's methods, involving the "recruit, entice, and engage in commercial sex acts with the victim." Detectives learned through the course of their probing that several sex acts in question occurred within the confines of the local business.
