As the day progresses, Oklahomans can expect the sun to continue its reign with today's high hovering near a cool 48 degrees. According to the National Weather Service, tonight's clear skies will accompany a low around 27 degrees, the north wind slowing to a gentle 6 to 10 mph. Come Monday, the sun persists with a high near 49 degrees, the wind shifting direction to arise from the south in the afternoon.
Looking ahead, Veterans Day will bring much-needed warmth, with sunny skies and a high near 69 degrees as south-southwest winds pick up to 10 to 18 mph. The following night is set to be mostly clear with temperatures dipping to around 44 degrees. Midweek forecasts promise consistently sunny days, with highs steadily climbing to a comfortable 71 degrees on Wednesday and reaching towards a balmy 75 by Thursday.
The week appears to be on a warming trend, promising clear skies and gradual temperature increases. By Friday, the high is expected to flirt with the 80s, peaking at 79 degrees. Meanwhile, the approaching weekend suggests a modest shift in patterns, with a 20 percent chance of showers on Saturday, although still quite sunny, with a high near 74 degrees.
