According to the NWS forecast, today will see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching a high near 55 degrees. The winds will kick up, hailing from the south at 8 to 18 mph, with gusts that could push past 30 mph.
Forecasters report a 40 percent chance of showers tonight, primarily expected after 9 p.m. Temperatures are set to dip to around 46 degrees, accompanied by steady south winds ranging from 17 to 21 mph and gusts reaching up to 31 mph. Rain chances continue into Saturday, with a 50 percent likelihood of showers before noon. Partial clearing is expected later in the day as temperatures rise to near 59 degrees before falling back to about 45 degrees.
Clearer conditions are on the horizon for Saturday night, with mostly clear skies and a low of 24 degrees. North winds will continue to prevail, blowing 13 to 20 mph and gusting to 30 mph. Sunday will bring mostly sunny weather and a more temperate high of around 38 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The north wind will continue at a slightly gentler pace of 9 to 13 mph, with occasional gusts up to 20 mph.
The new week is off to an uncertain start, with a slight chance of rain and snow possible before noon on Monday. Forecasters place the probability of precipitation at just 20 percent, but mostly cloudy skies are expected to persist, with daytime temperatures hovering near 37 degrees. Monday night is projected to turn partly cloudy, bringing overnight lows down to about 23 degrees. Conditions are expected to improve by Tuesday, when sunny skies return, and temperatures rise to around 48 degrees, before dipping to roughly 33 degrees overnight, as per the NWS.
