The Orange Park Police Department is taking a proactive stance on public safety with two upcoming training sessions that are free and open to all locals. On December 7, community members can engage in workshops on both e-bike safety and active assailant preparedness, as announced in a recent social media post by the Orange Park Police Department.
The day will begin with an E-Bike Safety Workshop from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM where attendees can learn essential safety tips and riding skills; this is followed by a seminar from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on how to handle an active assailant situation which aims to educate civilians on recognizing danger and effectively reducing risk, both sessions are a direct effort to bolster the well-being of this small community of approximately 9,000 residents, that way they can better navigate the challenges posed by the contemporary landscape where such knowledge could prove life-saving.
