
A fatal shooting occurred inside a Durham convenience store on Saturday night, prompting a police investigation, CBS17 reported. The incident took place just before 9:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Morehead Ave, where the only business is the Grab and Go Market, situated less than a block east of Chapel Hill Road; officers arrived at the scene to find an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds, he was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, he later died, according to CBS17.
In a follow-up to the tragic event, WRAL disclosed that investigators have yet to release the identity of the victim or any details on a potential suspect, and the investigation continues as authorities appeal for information related to the shooting, anyone with knowledge on the matter is urged to contact Investigator J.
