According to the National Weather Service, morning temperatures settled around 43°F with humidity at 75%. A light northeast wind at about 3 mph contributed to a calm, subdued start to the day.
Today, Portlanders can expect areas of frost between the hours of 8 am and 9 am, giving way to a mostly sunny day with highs reaching near 49°F. "North northeast wind around 6 mph," the NWS reports. The nights are set to dip once again into frosty temperatures after midnight, descending to a low around 35°F.
Looking into Monday's conditions, there will be more frost before 10 am, but thereafter the day presents us with partly sunny skies and a pleasant high nearing 47°F. The calm winds continue their repose, ensuring a tranquil end to November.
However, by Monday night, changes waft in with a 60% chance of rain likely after 4 am, as per the NWS. As we head into Tuesday, the likelihood of rain persists mainly before 10 am, with a forecast high of 49°F and light west-southwest winds in play. The weather pattern through to the weekend suggests an unsettled mosaic of cloudy nights, sporadic fog, and the potential for rain on several days, including a definitive rain likely by Friday.
