
Bexar County deputies on Thursday identified 18-year-old Deshawn Suggs as the suspect in the killing of 17-year-old Alianna Ujueta, who was shot while leaving a house party on Sept. 28 in the 13640 block of Luckey Road in southwest Bexar County. Investigators say the case remains open.

According to News 4 San Antonio, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office publicly named Suggs on Thursday and urged anyone with information to call 210-335-6000 or email [email protected]. The sheriff’s office did not immediately explain how investigators linked Suggs to the shooting.
What investigators say happened
Ujueta was shot on Sept. 28 as she left the party, and a witness told investigators the fight spilled into the street and that a fleeing black pickup ran her over after the gunfire, according to the San Antonio Express-News. The Bexar County Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide, citing a gunshot wound to the head.
Evidence and video requests
Deputies recovered spent shell casings, clothing and jewelry at the scene and are asking neighbors and partygoers to share any doorbell, dash or phone video from the Luckey Road area, KSAT reports. Investigators say footage could help confirm who fired shots and who was at the gathering.
