
Tragedy struck the southwest side of Bexar County early Sunday morning when a 17-year-old girl was shot and killed after a house-party dispute spilled into the streets. According to Fox San Antonio, the victim, identified as Aliana Ujueta, suffered a fatal gunshot to the head around 2:30 a.m. on Luckey Road in Atascosa and was later tragically run over by a black pickup truck linked to the suspects.
Details surrounding the violent and chaotic scene suggest an altercation that erupted at the gathering and consequently ended in the street where the teenager was found deceased; Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 911 call reporting the incident, as they found Aliana with a life-threatening wound and despite life-saving attempts, she was pronounced dead at the scene, the fight was described as involving multiple people and gunshots which were heard ringing out during the confrontation. A witness's account reported by KENS 5, detailed that, following the sound of gunshots, they saw a female lying motionless in the roadway, then she was cruelly run over by the escaping vehicle.
According to KENS 5, as the investigation proceeds, law enforcement officials have been diligently collecting evidence, which includes shell casings, clothing, and jewelry at the crime scene; one witness who observed the aftermath told investigators about a "victim lying on the ground near an armed man at the time of the shooting." The sheriff's office has since called upon the public, especially those who attended the fateful party, to come forward with any insights or tips that might lead to apprehending those responsible for Ujueta's death.
