
San Antonio, known as "Military City USA™," will host the Warrior Games from June 13–20, 2026, marking the first time the event will take place in the city. Competitions will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and nearby venues, drawing crowds to support wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans, according to the City of San Antonio.
Event Director David Paschal said, "The Warrior Games are truly life-changing," noting the event’s impact on participants and their families. Athletes will compete in 11 adaptive sports throughout the week, as reported by the City of San Antonio.
The 2026 Warrior Games will bring together athletes from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, Air Force/Space Force, and Special Operations Command to compete in sports such as archery, cycling, indoor rowing, powerlifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby. Organizers have released the event’s 2026 logo, which includes the outline of the Alamo, a dog tag shape, the Texas star, the River Walk, and Rosita’s Bridge to represent San Antonio. Information about the schedule, volunteer opportunities, and teams will be available on the Warrior Games website, with updates shared on Facebook and Instagram, as stated by the City of San Antonio.
