According to the City of St. Augustine's announcement, the grand lighting ceremony is slated to take place at 6:30 pm on November 15, initiating a festive season that will extend through January 11, 2026.
The festivities will launch with Showtime USA performing at Parque de Menendez at 4:00 pm, followed by The All Star Orchestra setting the mood at the Gazebo, Plaza de la Constitución at 5:30 pm before the much-anticipated lighting event. Celebratory nods are given to the area's Minorcan roots as Rusty Hall and Lea Craig, prominent figures in the local Minorcan community, will be the honorary guests of the ceremony. Catering to the convenience of attendees, the city has provided free Park & Ride shuttles from two main locations, from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm for north and west, and from 4:00 pm for Anastasia Island, as per the schedule detailed in the city's announcement.
However, with the increased flow of foot traffic and the grandeur of the event, comes some necessary road closures and parking restrictions. On November 15, Cathedral Place will be closed to vehicles between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and parking will be prohibited along certain parts of King Street for the entirety of the day.
