In a display of swift collaboration between local fire departments, a residential blaze that broke out on Bootes Drive was quickly subdued. According to a social media post from Haslet Fire Rescue (HFR), personnel from HFR Engine 128 spotted smoke in the northwest corner of their district around noon and moved to investigate.
Simultaneously, Fort Worth Fire Department's (FWFD) Engine 34 noticed the smoke nearby their Sendera Ranch station and located the fire just within Wise County's border. Engine 34 consequently requested support, pulling together a team spanning FWFD, Wise, and Tarrant Counties. Their efforts resulted in the successful extinguishing of the fire, with Engine 128 aiding in searches and fire attack procedures. Fortunately, the incident was resolved without any reported injuries.
The collaborative actions of the different fire departments underscored a seamless unity that resonates highly in times of crisis. Haslet Fire Rescue praised the incident as "a great example of neighbors helping neighbors," lauding the efficiency and teamwork of all the companies involved.
