The Animal Foundation is opening an emergency pop-up pet food pantry in Clark County, Nevada, in response to the federal government shutdown. According to the Clark County Nevada on their X account, the event will be held on Monday and will provide help to pet owners facing financial difficulties. The pantry aims to support those struggling to care for their pets during the shutdown.

The Animal Foundation held a pantry event as part of its Keeping Every Person and Pet Together program. The program helps families provide food and care for their pets. As reported by Animal Foundation, "There is no judgment and no cost—just compassion." The foundation aims to support the connection between owners and their pets.

The Animal Foundation will hold a pet food distribution on Monday from 12 PM to 3 PM at the Community Center, at the far right of the Adoptions building. Attendants must bring a valid ID and the number of pets they are feeding. Extended pantry hours, pop-up events on November 18 and 25, and emergency pet food pickups are also available. The Pet Food Pantry is supported by donations, and contributions can be made through the organization’s Amazon Wishlist.
