The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is holding a holiday food drive through the end of 2025, collecting non-perishable items at its main office in Prescott and substations in Outer Loop, Mayer, and Camp Verde on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding November 27–28 and December 25. The effort reflects YCSO’s commitment to supporting community needs during the financially and emotionally challenging holiday season, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.

Residents seeking assistance can visit several food distribution sites listed on the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office website, including the Prescott Community Cupboard and the Yavapai-Apache Nation Food Bank. Mobile Food Banks also operate Monday through Friday, bringing food directly to high-need locations such as the Chino Valley Senior Center and Mission Church.

All donated food items will be sent to local food banks for distribution to households in need. Residents may also donate directly to their local food banks instead of using the YCSO collection sites. This approach helps increase the number of donation options during the holiday season. A full list of participating food banks, distribution times, and ways to contribute is available on the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office news page.
