In Belcamp, an October morning discovery has led to a heartwarming development: three puppies, once abandoned in a box along a local walking trail, are now in good health and looking for permanent homes. These pups were found close to Route 7 and Creswell Road, as reported by FOX Baltimore. While there were sadly four originally, one of the litter did not survive.
Given immediate care by the Humane Society of Harford County after their discovery on Oct. 18, the puppies needed the kind of attention that only a mother or dedicated humans could provide. "Newborn puppies like these need their mother," Amanda Hickman, executive director of HSHC, reflected in a press release. Moved by compassion, a member of the shelter's team took the puppies home overnight, as FOX Baltimore detailed.
Now, some two months later, as asserted by WMAR-2 News, their transformation into healthy, frisky pups ready for adoption is complete. Their journey, crossing paths with human kindness, has readied them for a new chapter. The adoption fee for each is set at $250, which indicates a monetary value that falls short in measuring the fullness of a home they might fill with newfound love and vitality.
