Heads up, Parker and Lake Havasu City residents—this Sunday, the streets will rumble with the spirit of giving as the Annual River Riders Toy Run returns to town. According to the City of Lake Havasu website, the charitable parade will see around 2,000 motorcycles cruise through, their saddlebags stuffed with toys destined for local kids in need of a little extra joy this holiday season.
The thunderous charity ride is slated to start at noon in Parker, with the brigade expected to touch down in Lake Havasu City at about half-past twelve. Riders plan to take a traditional path chugging down McCulloch Boulevard South and pouring onto Main Street. And in a bid to truly make the event trouble-free, stretches of roads will be effectively locked down to traffic—McCulloch Boulevard will be shut tight from Acoma Boulevard to Smoketree Avenue during a generous window, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m, as detailed by the City of Lake Havasu.
After the parade, Main Street will host a community celebration where bikers and spectators can gather in the spirit of the season. Anyone attending should be ready to follow the marked detours. People can also join the event online by subscribing to the city’s YouTube channel, as per the City of Lake Havasu.
