Dulce Sarahi Chairez, an esthetician and owner of Ritzy Glitzy, has found a unique niche in Arlington’s beauty and wellness scene. Operating out of Refresh by Roxy Salon, Chairez started off with a focus on eyelashes and body sculpting, but soon turned towards herbalism when her husband encountered health issues. "It’s been incredible how many people believed in me and allowed me to help heal them. That’s when I fell in love with herbalism, and making a difference beyond just the aesthetics of things," Chairez told the City of Arlington. Her services now include not only beauty treatments but also personalized herbal remedies, which are inspired by her Mexican roots and a family friend, aiming to promote health and well-being.

This week, Chairez and her business are being spotlighted as part of the City of Arlington's Small Business Promotion Week. With the intent to serve as many as she can, Chairez's offerings now range from soaps and sprays to balms and tinctures, each with a herbal focus tailored to different ailments. She also provides recommendations on other vitamins or nutritional items, a testament to her holistic approach to client wellbeing. "I need to keep going as long as I know that my clients are receiving the healing they need," Chairez emphasized, per the City of Arlington.
