The north wind is expected to blow at 5 to 11 mph, with possible gusts clocking in as high as 22 mph.
Tonight's forecast introduces a 70% chance of snow, primarily after 1 a.m. Despite the calm before the storm, the wind is anticipated to shift north from 5 to 8 mph after midnight. "Little or no snow accumulation expected," as the evening sets in with cloudy skylines and a low around 19 degrees, as reported by the NWS.
Tomorrow may start with a possibility of snow, mainly before 9 a.m. But as the day unfolds, forecasts suggest a gradual clearing with highs creeping near 28 degrees and north winds at a modest 6 to 9 mph. The chance of precipitation remains at 40%, again with little to no snow accumulation expected.

"The rest of your weekend will be quiet until Sunday night," noting the cold start in the upper teens and presenting a partly sunny day with highs reaching the mid-30s. However, a slight chance of rain before 8 p.m. Sunday could transition to freezing rain and a bout of wintry mix into the wee hours, with an 80% chance of precipitation.
Monday will see a spike in temperatures to the high 40s, with a 90% likelihood of rain. The weather takes another turn for Tuesday with "bright skies, windy conditions with lows in the low 20s and highs near 30," as shared by 7Weather Blog. Wednesday maintains the trend with a modest high in the low 30s and New Year's Day brings partly sunny conditions coupled with a chill, high near 28 degrees.
