The Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner (CCOCME) will hold its 2nd annual “Missing in Nevada Day” on January 31, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at UNLV’s University Gateway Building, near the northeast corner of Maryland Parkway and Dorothy Avenue, according to the Clark County.
The event allows families to file reports, update existing cases, and meet directly with investigators, advocates, and forensic specialists. Families can provide photographs, dental records, fingerprints, and DNA samples from close relatives to help authorities build profiles of missing persons.
According to the Clark County website, addressing the core of the event, Clark County Coroner Melanie Rouse stated, “Every family deserves answers, and every missing loved one deserves to be remembered.” She added, “Missing in Nevada Day is about opening doors, providing support, and ensuring that no family has to navigate this journey alone. We are committed to doing everything we can to bring closure, healing, and hope.”
Those unable to attend the event can email their information to [email protected] to access the same services. The CCOCME serves Clark, Lincoln, Nye, and White Pine Counties, conducting death investigations, identifying deceased individuals, and notifying next of kin.
