In the face of plunging temperatures, Cobb County's MUST Ministries Hope House is stepping up by opening its warming station for those in need, ensuring that the community's vulnerable population — men, women, and children alike — have a haven from the harsh climes.
With the approaching cold snap, the shelter, situated at 1297 Bells Ferry Road, Marietta, will be offering its essential services on a trio of consecutive days including Monday, December 29; Tuesday, December 30; and Wednesday, December 31, and the doors will open for the night's stay starting at 8 p.m., according to a recent update from the Cobb County government news.
For those looking to escape the cold but are without a ride, transit vouchers courtesy of the county can be procured at Reflections of Trinity, located at 4037 Austell-Powder Springs Road, Powder Springs — a part of the efforts to ensure ease of access to shelter and aid. For more information, individuals can call (770) 222-6511.
