Yesterday afternoon, Frisco Fire crews sprang into action as smoke and flames disrupted the peace at an apartment building on Eldorado Parkway. According to a social media post by the Frisco Fire Department, the firefighters were initially responding to a fire alarm. On arrival, they stumbled upon more than just a blaring siren; they discovered a concealed fire between the second and third floors outside an apartment building located in the 6000 block of Eldorado Parkway.
Amidst the chaos, "Crews assisted residents out of the apartment and extinguished the fire," the Frisco Fire Department reported. The flames were successfully doused, extinguishing the eager blaze with no reported injuries. The firefighters' swift action limited the damage, though multiple units were affected. It was noted that only one sprinkler head activated during the incident, which might prompt questions about the building's fire suppression system.
An investigation into the fire's cause is presently underway. While the full extent of the damage has not been itemized, the department noted that the impact was contained. Residents of the building experienced disruption and discomfiture, but thanks to the prompt response of the emergency crews, a potential catastrophe was skirted.
