What the police say
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 6 p.m. near Green Valley Parkway and Silver Springs Parkway, a Henderson Police Department spokesperson said. Two vehicles had turned onto Silver Springs from northbound Green Valley when someone in one car opened fire on the other, hitting two people inside.
One victim was seriously hurt, and the other sustained non‑life‑threatening injuries. A suspect was detained at the scene, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
