The Hawai'i Island Police Department has intensified their search efforts for William Roscoe, a 65-year-old man who was reported missing and is now considered endangered. Police are urging the local community to aid in locating Roscoe, who may require medical attention. Last seen in the vicinity of the 100-block of Amau Road in Hilo on the morning of November 29, Roscoe's absence has raised concerns about his welfare.
Roscoe is described as a Caucasian male, with a light complexion, standing 6 feet and 1 inch tall, weighing 180 pounds with a thin build. He was reported to be unshaven, with short thin gray hair and toothless. His last known attire included a dark colored long sleeve shirt or sweater, blue jeans, and a brown leather belt. Notably, he was carrying a green reusable shopping bag at the time he was last seen. Currently, no photographs of Roscoe are available to assist the public in their search.
In a statement made by the Hawai'i Police Department, authorities have requested that anyone with information about Roscoe's whereabouts contact the police department’s non-emergency line. They can be reached at (808) 935-3311, or citizens may directly contact Officer Ethan Castillo through his provided email address.
