What started as an ordinary Tuesday night in Henderson's South Valley quickly turned serious when police responded to a homicide call in the 200 block of West Horizon Ridge Parkway near Eastern Avenue. Officers arrived to find an active crime scene that authorities said was contained, and a suspect was taken into custody while detectives launched their investigation.
Police stayed on the scene into the night as investigators collected evidence and spoke with witnesses. According to KTNV, the suspect was arrested last night, and police reiterated there was no ongoing threat to the public.
