Authorities say 42-year-old Kenneth Walker was arrested after a November 2 incident in which he allegedly approached a victim in a black sedan, offered to sell drugs, and then forcibly stole the victim’s property at gunpoint. The Houston Police Robbery Division report notes that Walker was already wanted for an aggravated robbery parole violation tied to a 2006 conviction.
Walker was taken into custody after North Patrol officers stopped him for a traffic violation while he was driving a black Ford Fiesta sedan. Investigators later found that he also faced charges for illegal firearm possession and controlled substance possession, according to the Houston Police Robbery Division.
After Kenneth Walker was arrested, investigators found a loaded gun and several bags of cocaine powder and methamphetamine in his vehicle. He is now charged in the 180th State District Court with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance. Police said a robbery detective identified Walker as the suspect, and the victim also confirmed his identity. Walker was already in custody on a parole violation warrant and is currently being held at the Harris County Jail as the case moves forward, as stated by the Houston Police Robbery Division.
