
The Houston Police Department is currently seeking the public's aid in tracking down a suspect implicated in an aggravated robbery incident at a local fast-food restaurant. The crime, which occurred late in the evening of September 6, unfolded straightforwardly – with a male suspect entering the restaurant, brandishing a weapon, and making off with money from a cash drawer.
According to a statement obtained by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division, the unidentified individual targeted a business on the 400 block of W. Little York in Houston at about 10:30 pm. The male approached the counter, displayed a handgun, and subsequently issued a demand for the cash register's contents. The employee present complied with his demands, and the suspect then fled in the direction of a nearby apartment complex. It is believed he may have entered a black BMW.
The suspect has been described as a Black male with an average to heavy build, who was wearing a blue hoodie and a ski mask at the time of the robbery. Police have not yet been able to identify the suspect and are reaching out to the community for assistance. Those with information are encouraged to step forward, with the potential for monetary recompense.
Houston's Crime Stoppers has announced that information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects may result in a cash payment up to $5,000.
