Temperatures drop to the mid-50s by late afternoon, north winds stay steady, and minor flooding remains possible in poor-drainage coastal areas.
On Friday, the forecast shows "a 50 percent chance of showers" with highs near 54°F and light north winds. Relief comes as "a stronger front arriving later in the weekend," bringing cooler, drier air and clearer skies into early next week, as per CW39.
