The new installation, the brainchild of artist Patrick Maxcy, is a large-scale visual ode to the St. Johns River's ecological treasures and serves as a larger-than-life reminder of water conservation and the environmental sustainability efforts that are increasingly vital to the area.
According to a post by the City of Jacksonville, Florida - Government, the mural's facade now boasts an interactive element, with 10 hidden hearts peppered across the artwork beckoning families to engage in a fun search, Maxcy's intricate designs don't just capture observers' imaginations but subliminally underscore Jacksonville's allegiance to natural resource mindfulness.
