The Nassau Fire Rescue Professionals L-3101 were recognized for their work with the Nassau Angel Tree program. A recent social media post from the organization noted that the Callahan Masonic Lodge honored their representatives—the 2nd Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Sergeant at Arms—at a recent event.
The union worked with Mrs. Wanda on the Nassau Angel Tree to provide gifts for local children in need during the holiday season. According to the social media post, "Our members set a simple goal — to make sure she runs out of angels on her tree." After the effort, all the angels on the tree had been claimed, completing the distribution of gifts for the program.
The fire rescue professionals expressed gratitude to Fernandina Beach Fire Department L-2836, local businesses, and their own union members for their support. "Together, we continue to make a difference," the organization stated in a social media post. This effort highlights the collaboration among various groups to support local children through the Nassau Angel Tree program.
