Residents of Neptune Beach are preparing for the town’s annual 1st Street Christmas Parade and Christmas in the Park celebrations, scheduled for this Friday. The Neptune Beach Police Department shared a social media post to inform the community about the events, stating, "We hope to see you on December 5th!" The post also included symbols of Santa and a Christmas tree.
The parade in Neptune Beach will begin at the First Christian Church, 2125 Oceanfront, with staging starting at 4:30 p.m. and the parade departing at 5:00 p.m. It will include floats and local groups, and may feature Santa Claus. The parade will end at Jarboe Park, where the Christmas in the Park celebrations will continue.
Christmas in the Park will take place at Jarboe Park, 510 Florida Blvd, Neptune Beach. The event will include Santa Claus, treats, hot chocolate, and hay rides.
