North Las Vegas police officers arrested a suspect after seizing illegal narcotics intended for street sale, along with a stolen firearm, in a pre-dawn operation. The North Las Vegas Police Department emphasized its commitment to public safety during the holiday season.
"As families across the city prepare for Christmas, officers were hard at work keeping the season safe and peaceful," the North Las Vegas Police Department stated. The operation reflects the department’s efforts to prevent drug-related incidents and the circulation of unlawful weapons.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department on their Facebook page, the department reminded the community to "Lock your vehicles and homes," "Drive safely and sober," and "Stay alert and look out for one another." They added, "Our officers will continue working through the night so your holidays can stay merry, bright, and safe."
